St Mark’s Church recently celebrated its 250th Anniversary. Another, sadder anniversary was the 50th anniversary of the closure of Ninebanks School, which many local residents attended. But the occasion was marked by a fascinating display in the Church Hall.
Highlights of the St Mark’s year are the Harvest Festival and Supper, the fund-raising celeidh, and the Christmas Carol Service, for which the Church is always splendidly decorated.
Services take place alternately with Whitfield Church; at Ninebanks on the first and the third Sunday of the month at 9.30am. Please see our Home Page for details of forthcoming events.
